Setting - up of joint laboratory for the research of sustainable plastics

ICARST and Polymer Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (UP SAV) have agreed and signed the Agreement on "Setting - up of joint laboratory for the research of sustainable plastics". 

The joint laboratory is focused on the research - design, development and production of bio-, eco-degradable polymers and sustainable plastics, studies of biopolymers and biomaterials, development of new technologies for their production, as well as of challenges related to ecological aspects of plastics.It is expected, that the joint laboratory ICARST - UP SAV will contribute to the finding of effective solution for alleviation of serious global burden of plastics pollution.
